Completed in 1866, this fort was used during the Civil War and the Spanish-American War. Visitors can take part in a thirty-minute tour to learn about the historical significance of this landmark. Tours take place at Noon and 2:00 p.m. Every February the fort holds its Civil War Days celebration, which includes reenactments and demonstrations. Cost: $3.75 per vehicle (with two people); $0.50 per additional person; $1.50 pedestrians and bicyclists.
